Welcoming You Back To Bolton Arena Gym

We’re pleased to announce the reopening of Bolton Arena gym, and we can’t wait to welcome you back!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The Government has given gyms in England the green light to reopen and we are happy to announce that we will welcome our members back into our gyms in England from Monday 27th July.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Research has shown that gyms play a vital role in helping the nation stay physically and mentally fit, so we’re very much looking forward to reopen again and help get the local community back to fitness.

Bolton Arena are committed to providing you with a cleaner, safer place for you to train, with everything you need for a great workout. As we acclimatise to the government restrictions our priority is to give Bolton Arena members confidence to come back and use our facilities.

Since the forced closure in March the gym has gone through a refurbishment which now offers a brighter more modern environment for your training. There have been modifications made to the free weights area to accommodate more members whilst adapting the space to cater for fashionable functional training methods. See more information about the refurbishment here.

Along with the improvements we have also adapted space in the Arena Suite, to offer a gym space for members that are over 60 years of age or are in the vulnerable category. This space will accommodate up to 15 members at any one time.

The arena is blessed with some lovely green outdoor space, we intend to utilise outdoor areas for a new fitness class called ‘Fitness Infusion’, members can book this regular class to train in a bootcamp style whilst having the confidence to remain socially distanced from fellow members.

We aim to keep customer disruption to a minimum. However, we must adhere to the government guidelines. Capacities will guarantee all members can train as much as before albeit with new processes to follow. The maximum capacity in the gym will be 50 members at any one time

All gym sessions will have to be pre-booked online or via the new Bolton Arena App, which will be launched on Wednesday 22nd July and will be available to download free of charge on Google Play for android or by visiting the Apple App Store on your mobile device. Further details and instructions about how to use are available here.
