Office Administrator

We are seeking a motivated, reliable and hardworking individual to join our Commercial team. Responsible for delivering excellent customer service both face to face and on the telephone, you will play a vital role in the operation and promotion of the arena’s facilities and products providing an efficient response to conference, event, membership and other Commercial enquiries. As part of the Commercial team the  main focus will be to support the Conference & Events manager in dealing with day-to day enquiries, prepare customer contracts and finalise event & conference details, respond to email enquiries, host site visits and liaise with the Operations team.

You will be friendly, work well as part of a team, be an effective communicator with colleagues and customers alike, have a flexible approach to your work and possess a ‘can do’ attitude.

Salary:             Meets national living wage

Hours:              25 hours per week. Permanent contract. Hours and days can be flexible but must be completed between 09:00-17:00, e.g. can be worked over 4/5 days.

On occasion, the successful candidate may also be required to work on large scale events.

Previous administration experience is essential for this busy role.

Essential

·         Excellent written & verbal communication skills

·         Good telephone manner

·         Customer care and customer focussed

·         Good knowledge of word, excel & email

Desirable

·         Experience in sales & marketing

·         Experience in conference & events

·         Experience of working with CRM systems
