Bolton Arena are pleased to announce the installation of state-of-the-art, Panasonic air conditioning units in Bolton Arena Gym.
Horsfield Building Services Engineers Ltd commenced work on Monday 6th March, with air cooling units to be installed, commissioned and tested by Friday 21st April.
The next stage of this significant investment will be air handling units, where work will begin on Monday 24th April.
The air cooling units will help regulate the temperature of the gym, whereas the air handling units will help control the flow of air in the gym.
Work is estimated to be completed by Saturday 10th June, with the majority of the work being done overnight, in order to minimize any disruption to the gym.
Head of Commercial, John Ashley said “We are pleased to confirm the installation of air cooling and air handling units, which will create pleasant training conditions for all Bolton Arena Gym members. We hope the significant investment of around £400,000, following on from last summer’s refurbishment can provide a training experience like no other in the local area”.
