Our free 3-day gym pass will give you the perfect introduction to our gym, fitness classes, 1-to-1 active sessions, the designated free weights area, our extensive range of cardio and resistance equipment, studio classes, and our 400m outdoor athletics track. You must be aged 14-plus and living within a 25-mile radius of Bolton Arena Community Sports Village, and it’s available only once per person.

Yes – you can save money by committing to a 12-month paid-in-full membership or join on a non-contract direct debit membership that you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. Teen memberships come with some off-peak time restrictions.

Yes, they do. Those aged 14 and 15 need parental consent by way of a signature and can only access the gym at certain times – 10am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am-4pm at the weekends. The same applies to our membership for 16- and 17-year-olds, who are also restricted to the off-peak times.

Not as such, but our student membership only costs £25 per month or £250 a year for a paid-in-full membership. Our student membership gives you access to our 24/7 gym (over-18’s only), health suite, and group fitness sessions. We have a joint version of our Arena All Inclusive membership that gives you and your partner access to our 24/7 gym, health suite with sauna and steam room, and group fitness sessions. There are no joining fees and it also includes a full gym induction, access to the Mywellness app and our outdoor 400m athletics track for fresh air training! Yes, we do. Our Arena Corporate membership is especially aimed at the emergency services (Fire, Police & NHS), Bolton Council employees and staff from the nearby Middlebrook Leisure Retail Park. There are no joining fees and Corporate membership also includes a full gym induction, as well as access to the Mywellness app and our outdoor 400m athletics track for fresh air training! We have gym memberships to suit all ages and pockets, including no contract memberships for those who can’t commit to 12 months. Our memberships cost £34.99 per month for the Arena All Inclusive, £24.99 a month for our 24/7 Arena Gym membership and £29.99 a month for an Arena Corporate membership, as well as competitively priced options for students (£25pm), over‑65’s (£27.99pm), teens* (aged 16-17; £22pm), juniors* (aged 14-15; £18pm), and joint memberships (£57.50pm). *Parental consent required, time restrictions, and subject to availability.

We have a wide range of Pay & Play options to use our facilities on a one-off basis. Our gym classes are all bookable via the Bolton Arena app and you can see our current timetable here. Our range of football pitches are also available to book on our app on a pay as you play basis as are our indoor tennis courts – subject to availability. Yes, you can freeze your membership whether you pay by direct debit, or you’ve paid in full. We consider each request on a case-by-case basis, so please speak to one of our friendly staff.
