Senior Customer Service Manager- full time, permanent

Salary : £26,000- £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Bolton Middlebrook Leisure Trust is a registered charity and trades under the name ‘Bolton Arena’. A legacy from the Commonwealth Games, Manchester 2002, Bolton Arena is a ‘first choice’ venue for sport, health & fitness, meetings and events and with over 1.2 million visits annually. Bolton Arena’s facilities are extremely popular with the local and business community and second to none in the region.

Our customer base is wide and varied and includes:

  • 110,000 health & fitness member visits per year
  • Educational visits – from primary schools to higher education establishments
  • Home to many local sports clubs
  • Home to 17 local businesses, through the provision of high quality office space
  • 900+ gymnastics club members training weekly
  • 120+ registered football teams playing weekly
  • 25,000 conference delegates per year
  • 21,000+ customers attending events per year

In addition, Bolton Arena boasts a well established and successful Tennis programme and is a Local Player Development Centre and one of only 12 Regional Player Development Centres in the country.

To help us to continue to move forward as a ‘self-sufficient’ Trust, we are now seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and driven Senior Customer Services Manager. Working closely with the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for areas of our business including, continuous improvement, people management, health & safety and events management as well as the day-to-day management of the Operations team.

To be considered for this post you will possess excellent communication and leadership skills and ideally have previous leisure management experience . This post requires an individual with good planning and organisational skills with the ability to be able to motivate and lead a team to ensure the delivery of consistently high standards across all business areas. Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.
