Bolton Arena runs a comprehensive programme of gymnastics classes, ranging from pre-school to elite performance.
Fundamentals
This is aimed at 2½years – 4years old. The children aged 3 and under must be supervised by an adult throughout the session. The session includes using all the large apparatus, soft play equipment and hand apparatus during the sessions. The session works in a 4 week block, these blocks include a theme upon which the session will be based. The price on the block includes a British gymnastics certificate and badge.

Beginners
This class includes the use of all the large equipment and is an introduction into basic gymnastics skills.

Intermediate classes
The children in the classes progress onto harder skills as they work their way up through the classes with the aid of the gymnastics badges.

Advanced class/elite squad
These classes really focus on skill development. The gymnasts work towards entering regular competitions and grades.

All classes throughout the year include Badge work, displays, and competitions. Classes work on a 10 week
block. Most of the gymnastics classes do have a small waiting list. Please call 01204 488100 to add your child’s name to the gymnastics waiting list.
