Bolton Arena is the first purpose built indoor tennis tournament venue in the UK offering the facilities to stage regional, national and international events. It has eight acrylic indoor tennis courts with a playing surface of the standard at Florida's Flushing Meadow. There are four badminton courts. A gallery viewing area overlooks the courts. Outside there are two floodlit American fast dry clay courts.
