A popular showcase of strength returns to the Bolton Arena on October 1 and 2.
Strongman Bolton first began in Bolton town centre six years ago but moved to the Arena last year as the XL Expo.
Now it’s back to its original title, back at the Arena, and bigger and better than ever.
Expect 100 men and women from around the country to compete in the two-day extravaganza of strength and iron will which includes pressing car axles, pulling vehicles and deadlifting up to 250 kilos.
Ten times World’s Strongest Man title holder Mark Felix will be attending along with Commonwealth wrestling medal winner and MMA champion Mike Grundy.
And, as well as those compelling competitions to watch, there will also be a host of family activities, demonstrations, displays and interactive attractions for all ages.
There will also be traditional stalls, a sweet shop, slides and a bouncy castle, martial arts and wrestling sessions, sports taster sessions, challenges, buskers ad brass bands.
Tickets and event information are available at https://www.facebook.com/Strongmanbolton. Pay on the door is limited; under fives go free.
