Hannah’s Strictly For Charity

THE Arena’s Conference and Events Executive Hannah Mooney has been polishing up her dance moves – all in a good cause.

Hannah and dance partner Ste Brown, from Arena sponsors AO.com, are taking part in the popular annual Strictly Learn to Dance competition run by Bolton Hospice.

This involves 20 local couples learning to dance with regular professional lessons, then taking part in a glitzy final at the Macron Stadium on April 9th in front of hundreds of people. Hannah and Ste have been working hard, hoping to wow the crowds with their foxtrot, quickstep and rock ‘n roll moves.

Hannah is no stranger to charity fundraising. She likes to commit to helping a different charity each year and in the past three years has raised more than £1,500 for Wateraid, Lagan’s Foundation which helps babies with heart disease and feeding problems, and Cancer Research.

“This year, I thought I’d stay close to home and support Bolton Hospice which provides specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families,” she stated.

“I myself have witnessed first-hand the important role the Hospice has in supporting families towards the end of a loved one’s life. It’s irreplaceable and provides a positive memory during such a great personal loss.”

Hannah will also be running the Manchester 10k on May 22.  Anyone who would like to support her fundraising can go to https://www.justgiving.com/Hannah-Mooney-SteBrown
