The Great Northern Wedding Show is back at the USN Bolton Arena on April 23rd – and it’s bigger and better than ever!
This bi-annual show is THE biggest one-day, free-entry bridal event in the North West. Featuring everything the future bride and bridegroom could possibly need to plan their best day ever – over 120 creative suppliers will be ready to meet you, and inspire your individual creativity. With two catwalk shows, including the very popular Alternative Catwalk with Legend Bridal Designs, as well as collections for the classic bride and the curvy bride from Foxglove Brides and Bridal Wear By Esme.
Slaters will be showing their huge range of menswear and Aubergine Ladies Wear have beautiful options for the Mothers of the Bride and Groom.
There are live performances and demonstrations and stalls for absolutely everything you will need for The Big Day – from cakes and stationery to fabulous food to sample and superb wedding cars of all kinds on show.
Now for the freebies – everybody loves a freebie! As well as a beautiful goody bag, free for the first 500 brides to arrive on the day, two free wedding magazines and show guide for all brides we are bringing back the #GreatNorthernBride giveaways!
Team LWB will place ‘I’m a Great Northern Bride’ signs randomly around the Arena. Should you find one just hand it in at the Little White Books stand and collect your prize there and then!

The Arena is super-easy to reach by car – we’re 400 yards away from Junction 6 of the M61 – by train as Horwich Parkway Station is just a short walk away or by car with free parking for 2,000 vehicles.

WE certainly have a busy few months ahead here at the USN Bolton Arena with a variety of amazing events.
On September 18th , Little White Books return with their fantastic Great Northern Wedding Show. It really is THE place to come for anyone planning a wedding as there are stalls from every nuptial area – from bouquets and bridalwear to cakes and cars and from make-up artists and marquees to venues and videographers.

On October 1st and 2nd Strongman Bolton is back with all the amazing displays of strength. This is a really enjoyable weekend for all the family with a friendly atmosphere, tough competition and some amazing feats of strength on show.

Health and Safety North also returns to the Arena on October 12th and 13th . This is the event when safety and health practitioners and communities from across the North of England come together to learn, network and procure.
One of the major events in the fencing calendar is being held at the Arena on October 15th when the Manchester Cadet competitions are staged for under 17 foilists. Go to http://www.manchetercadet.org/ for more details.

HUNDREDS of people planning weddings in the next year or two will converge on the USN Bolton Arena on April 24 for the Great Northern Wedding Show.
This is always a popular draw with around 120 of the North-west’s most bespoke and well-known wedding businesses offering everything from photographers and wedding dresses to bouquets and those fabulous wedding cakes.
As usual, it is arranged and run by experienced organisers Little White Books with free entry and registration available in advance. The wedding show runs from 11am to 4pm with free parking for up to 500 cars and additional parking for another 2,000 vehicles available.
There’s also the choice of arriving by train – Horwich Parkway Station is just a short walk from the Arena’s door – or by road as Junction 6 of the M61 is 400 yards away.

We’ve got a wealth of top-class events being held here, with some established favourites and new additions to delight fresh audiences.
On April 24th, we’ve got the Great Northern Wedding Show returning with its wealth of stalls featuring everything possible for the discerning bride and bridegroom. This is always a popular event and we look forward to welcoming new visitors along with established fans.
On May 14th, expect to see the very best in Thai boxing when The Tanko Main Event is held. Contact sports’ events don’t come any bigger than this and the fight card already boasts world stars like WBC World Champion Fabio Pinca and the UK’s own Reece McAllister.
Take a step into the fantasy world of comics and sci-fi when Film and Comic Con comes to the Arena for the first time on July 2nd and 3rd. All the favourite stars from TV, film and comics will be here as well as whole host of fun activities including photo shoots, panels, autograph sessions and hundreds of stalls full of TV and film memorabilia. We can expect some amazing outfits from visitors, too!
The Great Northern Wedding Show returns on September 18th and on October 1st and 2nd XL Expo is back at the Arena after holding its inaugural event here last year to great acclaim.
This two-day event celebrating strength and wellbeing involves competitions, stalls and activities, bulging with the best in its field and bigger and better than ever.
And on November 13th, there will be all the fantastic gymnastic moves and routines that dazzle and delight audiences when Jungle Fever cheerleading competition returns to the Arena.
