Networking event a hit with companies
Another fascinating cross-section of businesses and various organisations came together at last month’s Arena networking event.
The 50 or so attendees at the regular free event, which showcases local and regional businesses, included many companies which have made this a regular date in their diaries but also several businesses new to Arena networking.
Tony Hayes, who has his own Business For Breakfast networking groups over a wide area, stated “I’m enjoying this event. Networking is always a really good opportunity to make new contacts and I’ve met a lot of new people here today.”
For photographer Julie Lomax, it was also her first time at the Arena event. “Yes, networking is very useful and this event is already proving very interesting for me,” she said.
Deborah Grime from Office Depot was another networking enthusiast, and also a fan of the Arena event. “Networking is great,” she stated. “You meet and get to know so many people, here especially, and create valuable business contacts.”
And for Steve Holt from Craftprint, a regular at Arena networking, this provided another opportunity for “really getting to know people – and allowing them to find out more about you and the services you offer.”
